Nature Lace Sweater is an oversized sweater featuring an allover lace pattern, a mock turtleneck and elongated ribbed edges at cuffs and hem. The lace pattern gives the sweater a feminine and delicate touch, while the ribbing and the fabrics cozy chunkiness, add a structural element.
Nature Lace Sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down with 1 strand of Heavy Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. The front and back are worked separately back and forth down to the underarms where the two pieces are joined and the body subsequently continued in the round. Afterwards, sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round. Finally, stitches for the neckband are picked up and worked in the round. Nature Lace stitch pattern is charted only.
Nature Lace Sweater is designed with positive ease. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm [38½”], you should choose to knit a size 2 in order to achieve the intended fit.
