Daisy Sweater features sweet embroidered daisies on a simple backdrop of plain stockinette. It is worked in the round from the top down with 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. You start with the ribbed neckband before shaping the neckline with German short rows. The yoke is worked in the round with raglan increases to the underarms where sleeve stitches are placed on hold to be worked after the body has been completed. The flower discs are worked into the sweater along the way while the petals are embroidered on afterwards. Sleeves are worked in the round and finished with ribbed cuffs.
Daisy Sweater is designed with positive ease. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm [38½”], you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.
